Coming Soon: Getting Blitzed in the Blue Jacket Bleachers

Columbus Blue Jackets are the first sports franchise to partner with Refill, an alcohol delivery app, to give club-level fans the ability to order food and drinks without ever leaving their seats.

According to Columbus Business First, Refill, produced by Columbus-based Alcohol Deliveries LLC, will be part of the CBJ’s Arena app that was debuted four seasons ago. Previously the Arena app only hosted team rosters, event schedules, mobile tickets, and food delivery to club-members, but patrons still had to pay the staffer delivering to them.

With the addition of Refill, CBJ representatives hope to cut down on concession lines. Refill hopes to work with the makers of the Arena app to expand into other markets.
