The Pizzuti Companies got their approval from the Victorian Village Commission and now it’s all systems go for their development at the intersection of First Avenue and High Street. The project will include two mixed-use buildings; one four-stories and one six-stories. The buildings will host 12,000 square feet of commercial space, 45,000 square feet of office space, and 110-120 residential units. There will be plenty of [structured] parking to go around. They have begun pre-leasing activities to fill these vacancies. Construction on this will begin later this year.
“The mix of first-class office space, luxury apartments and a combination of top national and local retailers will make the new development at First Avenue and High Street a premier place to live and work in Columbus,” said Joel S. Pizzuti, president of The Pizzuti Companies.
This new development will replace the single-story Grandview Mercantile building. The home decor shop will relocated this fall.
