The city of Columbus is really getting behind Franklinton’s east side development push and the Out of Town apartment building is no different.

The city OK’ed the Department of Development to chip in a $135,730 grant to go towards the design and engineering for Out of Town, a 45-unit affordable housing complex going up at Town Street and Mead Alley in Franklinton.

Metropolitan Holdings and Arch City Development broke ground just 30 days ago but say it could be open as early as July 2018.
