We’ve got renderings of the new Short North hotel + rooftop bar

New renderings of the hotel going into High St. and Hubbard Ave. have been released. Crawford Hoying will begin developing its 10-story, 118-room hotel this fall with hopes of the project being completed in spring of 2019.

The big building will be constructed on the site of the former Haiku sushi restaurant. As of right now, Crawful Hoying is referring to the development by its address– 800 North High.

According to their website, the primary use of the building will be office space and have a special focus on outdoor spaces. As you can see in the photos, the structure will be virtually covered in windows that allow for a nice view of the Short North and Downtown.

800 North High will also have two restaurants and of course, the aforementioned hotel (a Marriott International Inc. brand operated by Shaner Hotel Group).

The hotel’s lobby will be on the second floor with floors three through five dedicated to 45,000 sq ft of office space. Floors six through nine will be hotel rooms. Parking at the development will be valet only to alleviate congestion.

And for the grand finale, the public will have access to the tenth floor rooftop bar. And the crowd goes wild!
