What the hell is up with development

Hello everyone. We, along with Columbus Business First, believe you all could use a little update with some development projects happening around town.

So here you go, here’s what the hell is up with construction lately:

1. White Castle HQ

After getting plans for their new palace OK’ed, White Castle has recently been given the green light for a parking garage. The structure will be two-stories and have 297 parking spots.

Moving forward, White Castle will be working to get details ironed out for the apartment complex and amphitheater that are planned for the next phase of construction.

2. Wolf’s Ridge Signage

Don’t freak out, Wolf’s Ridge Brewing isn’t closing or relocating, they’re simply getting a new sign. The new sign will be on top of the building at 215 North 4th Street and Columbus Business First reports it will be eclectic.

3. Mixed-use project along State Street

Six-stories are going up at 264 E State Street. Formerly occupied by the Ohio Democratic Party, the space has been taken over by Borror and is slated to become a mixed-use space for a 222-unit apartment complex, a restaurant (potentially a breakfast joint), a club house, an office space, and commercial space.
