Deals: Serving those who have served U.S.

While it is a day off from work for some, Veteran’s Day is more so a way to recognize those who have fought for the freedoms America holds. We thank you, Vets, for your service everyday but this weekend, some local business would like to bump the appreciation up a notch. Here are some deals, around Columbus for those who have served:

  • COTA Bus: Free fares for veterans on Friday, November 10th
  • Hot Chicken Takeover: Partnering with local charity Run Down the Demons for a t-shirt with proceeds going to the charity. The charity is focusing Women Veteran efforts offering yoga classes.
  • Rustic Barrel: Vets eat free, all day on the Friday, November 10 and Saturday, November 11
  • Hofbrauhaus Columbus: Vets and all current military eat free all day for up to 15 dollar value on Saturday, November 11
  • Lynd Fruit Farm: Free quart of cider on Saturday, November 11th for all veterans
  • Columbus Zoo and Aquarium: Free admission to the zoo all day on Saturday, November 11
  • Westerville Community Center: Free pancake breakfast on Friday, November 10
  • California Pizza Kitchen:  Veterans and active military will receive a free entree from a special menu with proof of service on Saturday, November 11
  • Max & Erma’s: Veterans can enjoy a free Cheeseburger, Endless Fries, and fountain drink on Saturday, November 11
  • Great Clips: On Nov. 11, all veterans get a free haircut or a free haircut card to use by the end of the year on Veterans Day
  • McDonald’s: One free breakfast, lunch, or dinner Extra Value Meal to veterans and active military on Saturday, November 11
