Local father-son duo reinvent the family portrait

First it was matching denim on denim, then there were ugly sweaters, now Famjams are all the rage. Family pictures are as old as time but lets face it, most everything has been done (and they’re all pretty lame). But one local family is taking their portraits to the next level.

Aaron Sheldon, a stay-at-home dad, and his son Harrison are rarely home. Instead, they’re out exploring the city with a tiny astronaut outfit and camera in tow. Harrison suits up and Aaron focuses in, creating the cutest, most creative captured moments of childhood and time capsules of the city.

Shelton and Harrison aren’t attempting the most traditional form of family photography but with dad behind the camera and son in front, the two have reinvented the term and it’s blasting off.
