By March, you’ll be able to order those roasty toasty sandwiches and soups from Panera without stepping out of the house.
Panera’s move towards delivery comes after the start of their Phase 2.0 that’s meant to enhance customer service. This new delivery model is expected to add 200 jobs to the Central Ohio market, according to Columbus Business First.
Delivery will be kept within an eight minute radius of a cafe, and will be kept to small orders only. Customers must order at least $5 worth of food, but the delivery charge tacked on will be $3.
Orders can be placed online or through their app. Panera has 45 restaurants in Central Ohio, 26 of which will serve the delivery market for the entire area.
