Hot Chicken Takeover is Literally Taking Over CBUS: 3rd Location Announced
Hot Chicken Takeover has announced a third restaurant opening this year as it continues its expansion in Central Ohio.
Owner Joe DeLoss has confirmed that Hot Chicken Takeover will open a third location at the Easton Gateway in late 2017. The new restaurant will be located at 4198 Worth Avenue.
Hot Chicken Takeover currently famously operates out of the North Market’s 2nd floor and has a food truck with seasonal availability. Earlier this year DeLoss announced a second location opening in Clintonville this spring.
“We’re excited to be a part of the Easton Gateway,” notes Joe DeLoss, HCT’s Founder, “this opportunity allows us to serve an even broader cross-section of our community and positions us well for growth and impact.”
Known for their Nashville-style hot chicken, the restaurant is lauded for lines wrapped around the restaurant and their community-minded approach to employment. HCT employs a Fair Chance human resource strategy, which provides work opportunities for men and women with barriers to conventional employment.
“HCT is bigger than just chicken, it’s about the magic in our community of customers and employees,” shares DeLoss, “expansion of our concept gives us the privilege of scaling those relationships even further.”
The Grand Opening for the new location will be announced once construction is underway.
