North Market getting greased up with new olive oil vendor
Do you know the #1 way to impress a date? Cook for him/her. Do you know the #1 way to impress said date with your cooking skills? Have a fancy-schmancy olive oil on hand at all times. Beginning in June, you can swing by the North Market to pick up a bottle in Green Olive Company’s all new space.
The specialty olive oil and balsamic vinegar company will move in to the space next to Destination Donuts and across from Flavors of India.
“We look forward to sharing our passion for olive oils and balsamic vinegars with North Market customers and fellow merchants,” said Lisa McCormack, Green Olive Company creator.
This will be the second location of Green Olive, the first being in the Short North Arts District. While there are health benefits of using olive oil and balsamic vinegars, the flavor profiles bottled inside each Green Olive product are exceptions, said McCormack.
So no matter how shriveled your stuffed peppers end up or how weak your tossed salad is, here’s no meal that can’t be saved with a few drizzles of worldly olive oil, right?
