Kasich Allies Form Non-Profit to Champion for his Policies
A group of Ohio Gov. John Kasich allies have formed a non-profit organization called Two Paths America, with aims to bring national light to policies and goals that Kasich supports.
The organizations functions on three ideals: a balanced budget, citizenship and community, and national security. The group intends to bring these types of public policy to the national stage, where they are likely to go head to head with Trump administration policies, according to the Columbus Dispatch.
The Dispatch reported that “the nonprofit will focus on passing a federal balanced budget amendment, a cause of Kasich’s as he stumped the country before declaring himself a candidate for the Republican nomination. It said it also will support a strong national defense rooted in not shrinking from the international stage and promote a partnership of communities and citizens to tackle the nation’s problems.”
Two Paths America will not involve Kasich in its functioning, nor was it formed to sustain any political goals Kasich might have.
