“Alternate Facts” Pizza Boasts Zero-Calories

Isn’t it just delicious when politics and food combine? A national pizza chain with a Columbus location is now offering Alternate Facts pizza, or the perfect pizza ‘for even Kellyanne Conway,’ according to a representative from Villa Italian Kitchen.

According to the Cleveland Plain Dealer, the pizza is made with whole-milk mozzarella and a lot of meat.

In a statement on the company blog, Villa Italian Kitchen said, “The #AlternateFacts Zero-Calorie Meat Lovers Pan Pizza: a zero-calorie pizza made with homemade dough prepared fresh daily, 100% whole milk mozzarella and sauce made from fresh California tomatoes and topped with pepperoni, sausage, ham and bacon for an average price of $14.99 for the whole pizza or $4.09 per slice (prices may vary per location).”

This come’s after Kellyanne Conway statements on POTUS’s press secretary, Sean Spicer, who lied about the number of people at the 2017 inauguration. Conway’s response to questions about the incident resulted in her saying Spicer did not lie but offered, “alternate facts.”
