A brutal attack turned out to be good fortune in disguise for one local man.
Bob Seed, a Columbus city worker, opened up to ABC6 about his traumatic attack that left him seriously injured.
Seeds told ABC6 he was on his way to do some shopping at Easton when a car behind him was following too close. He doesn’t remember much after that but he does recall pulling over his vehicle and falling to the ground.
A witness saw Seeds being hit at least once and falling to the pavement. The attacker sped off.
Seeds was in the hospital for a traumatic brain injury and a critical eye injury when the doctors discovered cancer in his kidney.
The cancer was removed, Seeds has finished rehabilitation, and he is back to work full-time.
Despite the horrific incident, Seeds doesn’t hold anything against his attacker.
