Gabriel Hinojosa’s death ruled homicide

Gabriel Hinojosa’s death has been confirmed as a homicide. Her body was found in a recycling bin in Big Darby Creek in February. She was only 22 years old and also a mother.

The exact way she was killed is being called “undetermined” by Franklin County coroners. The autopsy revealed she had signs of neck compression and acute intoxication by fentanyl.

The Franklin County Prosecutor says Andrew Michael McGowan, 29, was the one that murdered Hinojosa.
