Hit-and-run involving loaded school bus

Someone hit a Columbus City Schools bus this morning and skipped out on the scene. It happened on E Broad St. and N Waverly St. before 8 a.m.

There were 10 kids onboard from Gahanna Christian and Columbus Academy but none were injured.

The other vehicle involved was a Jeep. The driver who split left their passenger trapped in the car. The passenger was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. The bus driver received precautionary medical attention.
