Reynoldsburg junior high teacher goes rogue on police

There’s no doubt teaching junior high students is a difficult job but one teacher at Waggoner Road Junior High School has made it impossible by landing himself in jail.

Justin McDowell, 26, was arrested Monday for failure to stop after a crash, assaulting an officer, and aggravated robbery. Police pursued McDowell on foot for nearly a mile before he turned around and attacked an officer. He reportedly punched an officer in the face, put him in a headlock, and tried to take his gun.

NBC4i reports that the Reynoldsburg City Schools superintendent has placed McDowell on leave.
