NOAA Outlook: Our scientist friends at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration are bringing us down on this beautiful fall day with news about our impending winter.
According to 10TV per NOAA, this winter is probably going to be cooler and wetter than usual for us.
There is also a roughly 60 percent chance of the La Nina effect meaning we could see above average precipitation and colder than average temps. This would be the second straight winter with Lady Nina.
Farmer’s Almanac Outlook: The trusty Farmer’s Almanac has dismissed from the jury room with a verdict for winter 2018. The Wrangler jean-wearing, sitting-’round-the-table-sipping-black-coffee folks say we’re in for a cold winter with average snowfall.
