Alleged Sexual Assault at Prairie Oaks Metro Park

During an early evening walk on Sunday through one of Prairie Oaks Metro Park’s trails, a woman says she was sexually assaulted according to Fox28.

The victim was there to pick up her kids from her estranged husband but arrived earlier than intended, deciding on a walk.

The victim then claims she was sexually assaulted by a white man wearing a black coat, gloves and blue jeans.

Despite a quick response from investigators and rangers were unable to find any physical evidence though they did emphasis that it was dark during the time of the search.

Investigators will continue their search while the park re-opens Monday.
