Central Ohio colleges offer local students awesome deal
If you’re from central Ohio and looking for a college program to enroll in for fall, Otterbein University and Columbus State may have your ticket. They have teamed up to give students a sweet deal; a program that allows them to earn both an associate and bachelor’s degree in four years. The best part is that it’ll cost less than most of Ohio’s public four-year universities.
The idea is to eradicate the annoyance of transferring colleges while also cutting the price of higher education. If in the program, a Columbus state student is automatically an Otterbein student– no agonizing transfer hoops to jump through. A student’s college experience will be split between the two campuses.
If a student carries a 2.75 GPA, they will receive a reduced tuition rate. In total, the cost of the four-year program is $43,188 (miraculously, that includes books).
The courses of study available to central Ohio students in the program are Business, Communication, Education, Engineering and Health and Sport Sciences.
The only catch is students in the program have to be commuters. That’s right, they won’t look back on their college days and remember their rodent-infested apartments or throwing giant keg parties at their campus house.
