Central Ohio School Districts Closed due to Bomb Threat

School districts in Fayette County, roughly 45 – 50 minutes south of Columbus, have been closed after an anonymous bomb threat.

Washington Courthouse City Schools and Miami Trace Local Schools were both closed today after a caller phoned threatening to bomb “a school.” The individual allegedly said he would use a pipe bomb sometime in the morning or afternoon.

The call lasted barely 10 seconds, but the service provider is attempting a trace.
