CPD rescues dog hanging from deck

One local pup got him/herself into a real pickle but the CPD was all over it.

According to NBC4i per the Columbus police, a dog tried jumping over a deck fence when it got it’s leg caught in a grill cover. When neither animal control nor the Humane Society could respond, Officer Shana Keckley came to the dog’s rescue.

She borrowed a ladder from a neighbor, lifted the dog, and cut away the grill cover to free it’s leg. The dog is doing just fine now.
