Franklin County ranks low on new safety study

Yesterday, the National Council for Home Safety and Security announced a list of the top 50 safest cities in Ohio and Franklin County is way down there– 46th to be exact. We were beat out by Russell Township who ranked #1, Marysville at #27, and, of course, Powell coming in at #14.

Here is the methodology:

Securing the 50th spot is Uhrichsville, Ohio. We don’t know much about Uhrichsville but we do know they have a water park and something called Krowly’s Creepshow (rated 5/5 on Facebook). Family road trip to one of Ohio’s least safe cities anyone?
