When Arnold Ramsey isn’t protecting our country as an active Marine, he spends his time bettering the lives of those who have served before him.
Ramsey, alongside his wife, created Sanctuary Quarters with the goal of providing safe, affordable, dignified housing for homeless veterans.
But the task at hand wasn’t so easy, seeing as Ramsey didn’t have any formal building knowledge, reports NBC4i.
That’s when he sparked an idea to employ those who need jobs the most—the homeless.
Now, Sanctuary Quarters is three members strong and hope to finish the restoration of their first house so that a vet can begin restoring his or her own life.
To help Sanctuary Quarters on their mission, consider contributing to their GoFundMe.
