Life Sentence for Pickerington Murderer

Connor Jeffries, 21, facing two counts of aggravated murder, two counts of murder and tampering with evidence for the deaths of 20-year-old Gary Ashton Francis and 21-year-old James Miller in April of 2016 pled guilty to the two murder charges and one tampering of evidence in court Thursday.
He received two life sentences in prison with an opportunity for parole after 33 years.
His girlfriend, 19-year-old Mia V. Shamis accompanied Jeffries to the murders, she waved her right to a grand jury and instead opted into a guilty plea of involuntary manslaughter. She testified against Jeffries after agreeing on a seven-year prison sentence.
The murders were drug related.
