Monopoly Nixes the Thimble, Everyone Asks, “What Even Was a Thimble?”

Monopoly, the tour-de-force game that obliterates 8 hours of your day while simultaneously damaging your relationships, launched an online poll last month so fans could finally decide which choking-hazard game pieces would be unceremoniously cut from the game.

Well ladies and gentlemen — the results have been tallied and the thimble has been cut. Likely thrown into an incinerator.

Oh and did we mention that twitter is taking this opportunity to pitch new tokens:
