No credit card = no clothes at this local cleaners
Less is typically more and when it comes to the case of one local dry cleaning company, they say less cash is more.
Dublin Cleaners plans to go entirely paperless after closely analyzing the impact of doing away with physical money. Columbus Business First reports that between the break-ins at their six locations and the amount of time and money they were spending on depositing cash, the company’s president, Brian Butler, sees it more viable to go plastic.
Butler is pretty confident his customers will adjust just fine but to warm them up to the idea, the stores will have a 30-day window where cash will be on hand. They’re also only deploying the no cash concept at two of the six stores to begin with—no word on which two were selected. It’ll be adopted at all if everything goes smoothly. Columbus Business First reports that Dublin Cleaners will post signage about the switch at all of its stores.
