One flies back to the cuckoo’s nest

If at some point over the weekend, you saw a loudly-colored parrot soaring amongst the treetops, it’s because Milo, a macaw from the Columbus Zoo, escaped. He’s since been found and taken back to his cuckoo’s nest.

On Thursday, the flight-ful bird took to the air in the Animal Encounters area following a large gust of wind. Staff were able to keep watch of him until around 8pm but then lost sight of him.

Thanks to his flashy good looks, Milo was found on Sunday near the Kinsale Golf and Fitness Club in Powell, about 3 miles north of the zoo, reports The Dispatch.
