Promowest Production spells out bag policy

Promowest Production spells out bag policy

If you’ve been to a concert at a Promowest Production venue–Express LIVE!, A&R Music Bar, The Basement, Newport– anytime recently, you’ve noticed the more rigorous security–pat downs, purse checks, and even bag restrictions.

To avoid any confusion about what bags are allowed where, Promowest sent an email this afternoon, spelling out exactly what bags are permitted in their venues. The subject line: “New Bag Policy” and the only content in the email was this graphic:

Plain and simple, Promowest venues allow 14″ x 14′ clear bags and 5″ x 8″ x 1″ purses (“clutch” in female language) but absolutely NO backpacks. This new policy is in effect now.

Prior to the email notice, Promowest banned backpacks, cinch bags, and oversized purses.
