Spaniel centerpiece in OSU sorority sister legal battle

While 83 cheating Ohio State students find themselves in danger of missing graduation, a puppy dog finds itself in the middle of a legal battle between two sorority sisters.

Madeleine Entine, a student Chi Omega sister, acquired a therapy dog—Cory—to help curb her anxiety and panic attacks. Cory lived with Entine in the sorority house. However, a fellow Chi Omega sister, Carly Goldman, said that Cory was causing her Crohn’s Disease symptoms to flair up, reports NBC4i.

After both girls defended their cases in front of university officials, Entine was ordered to remove Cory from the house. Entine didn’t think it was fair her disabilities were deemed less important than Goldman’s.

But then NBC4i reports the university sort of reneged on that initial decision and decided they did not have the right to determine which medical condition was more important. Therefore, OSU decided to base their answer on which of the two girls signed the lease first.

Entine was not satisfied so she sued under the Federal Americans with Disabilities Act and now the case is being heard by a federal judge.
