Swan Cleaners Opening New Store and Concept

Swan Cleaners, the central Ohio leader in garment care for over 81 years, is proud to announce the opening of its newest store in Downtown Columbus, conveniently located at 146 S. High Street (43215), near the Columbus Commons.

As downtown Columbus’s only full-service dry cleaner and launderer, Swan is keeping its downtown roots with a move 2 blocks to the north, from its previous South High Street store location. The new store is on schedule to open for business this May. The building that houses the current Swan location, located at 255 S. High St., has been sold and Swan is scheduled to move out of that location on February 20th, 2017.

The new location will feature The Locker Valet, Swan Cleaners’ brand new store concept. Outfitted with over 50 lockers, The Locker Valet is a free service that gives Swan customers 24/7 access to pick-up and drop-off their garments, on their own schedule. “We are excited to offer this first-of-its-kind service to our Downtown clientele. The added convenience of twenty-four hour access is the perfect fit for today’s Downtown lifestyle,” said Paul Gelpi, president of Swan Cleaners.

In addition to The Locker Valet, the new Swan store will also feature increased capacity for Swan’s concierge wash, dry and fold service. “With more people living downtown, we are catering to the ‘on-demand’ customer with our concierge wash, dry and fold service. Now, busy customers can do two weeks of laundry in about two minutes. They drop off their dirty laundry and pick it up freshly laundered, folded and ready to wear,” exclaimed Gelpi. Other store amenities will include front-door, loading-zone parking, same-day dry cleaning and next day, laundered shirt service. The store will be staffed Monday through

Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Each Swan store’s suite of services also include: garment repairs, alterations, household items, drape cleaning, fur storage and repairs, suede & leather care (including UGGS cleaning), and shoe repair.
