The Mayor of Lancaster submits resignation
According to 10tv, the Mayor of Lancaster, Brian Kuhn has submitted his official letter of resignation. This resignation follows Kuhn being sentenced to a 90-day house arrest, a $1,000 fine and 100 hours of community service for failing to file his tax returns in 2014 and 2015. Kuhn was originally charged with two felonies for not filing his 2014 and 2015 taxes but agreed to plead guilty to two misdemeanor charges.
Last year, Bridget M. Kuhn, Mayor Kuhn’s wife, was sentenced to four years in prison last year for embezzling money from her former employer, Frazier Electric, and the American Legion Post 11 to support her gambling addiction.
At least Mr. Kuhn will have the four children from Mrs. Kuhn’s previous marriage to keep him company while on house arrest.
