Worthington Galena Rd closed during rush hour
An emotionally-charged car wreck has closed Worthington Galena Road between Highland Avenue and the rail road tracks and is expected to remain closed through rush hour this evening.
According to the Worthington Division of Police per Thisweeknews, a 28-year-old Westerville man wrecked into a pole at Sancus and Lakeview plaza boulevards and fled yesterday.
Once police arrived at the scene, another accident was reported near Worthington-Galena and Highland Avenue. There was a downed utility pole there.
The driver that fled was found hiding in a trash bin on the 6700 block of N High Street and was taken to receive medical attention. Bystanders saw he was bleeding.
Evidently, the suspect smashed into his boyfriend’s car and proceeded to hit another car and flee the scene.
