Get a selfie with your selfie at Convention Center sculpture
Are you ready for your close up? Hopefully because your face could be illuminated in thousands of LEDs on a 14′ sculpture inside the Convention Center. The new interactive artwork is called “As We Are” and is now open inside the North Atrium.
The sculpture is shaped like a human head made with tons of LED screen ribbons. There’s a photo booth in the back capable of taking 3D photos. So, participants get their picture taken and see the sculpture populate their face. All pictures will be saved in a data base and will rotate about once a minute.

Former Columbus mayor Michael Coleman gave it a go a few days ago.
Art work comes in all forms even if the subject is poor! 1 million LED lights.

But the Convention Center has another trick up their sleeve. They’re taking this opportunity to reinvent and reintroduce themselves as an official player in Gallery Hop, happening this Saturday.
They will have over 130 works of art displayed inside this Saturday from 4-6pm.
