Local girl is representing Cbus on the cover of Women’s Health!

Darcey Wion is a top five finalist in Fitness Star competition by Women’s Health Magazine. She’s the first woman from the midwest to make it to the finals. Oh oh, flex on ’em, Darc!

This is a nationwide contest to find America’s best trainer with tenacity, passion, and skills. Ultimately, it is left up to you to decide who is America’s Fitness Star. Vote here

Wion’s fitness journey has taken her through hell and back. It was on her journey that she discovered she had cancer.

“Health is a privilege, not a given. I’d always been active, but in college, I put on some weight that I wanted to lose. I kicked up the intensity of my workouts so much that when fatigue set in at age 23, I attributed it to my routine. That is, until I blacked out in a cycling class. When I finally saw a doctor, the news shocked me: I had Hodgkin’s lymphoma, an immune-system cancer” –Wion with Women’s Health
