If you haven’t yet signed up for Affordable Care (ACA) , or most commonly known as Obamacare, today will be your last chance to do so.

Though the Trump administration is preparing to repeal part or all of the ACA, insurance contracts will still be binding for the rest of 2017, so it’s likely people who sign up now will be able to use their insurance starting March first, according to the Columbus Dispatch.

As of last week, 230,000 Ohioans have signed up for Obamacare, said Chris Keck, Ohio director for Enroll America, to the Dispatch. 74 percent of Ohioans enrolled have qualified for subsidies to pay for their premiums and are receiving financial assistance.

For that remain uninsured, penalties are $695 per adult and $347.50 per child with a household maximum of $2,085; or, 2.5 percent of household income, according to the Dispatch.
