Coach Urban Meyer, dressed in a sleek grey suit and red tie, stood up in front of a crowd full of Big Ten media representatives to answer questions about the highly anticipated 2017-18 Buckeye football season (we say “highly anticipated 2017-18 Buckeye football season” though every season could be described as such). Like previous years, Coach Meyer has a lot of talent on his hands. He’ll face tough decisions as many outstanding athletes are jockeying for the same positions.

Spots to be battled for during fall camp:

  • Starting right guard position
  • Backup QB
  • Starting tight end
  • Wide receivers
  • All defensive back positions

Urban also spoke about his most recent hire, Kevin Wilson as the team’s offensive coordinator. And of course, the elephant in the room; Ezekiel Elliot. Urban didn’t say too much about his former player turned-Dallas Cowboy but he did confess his concern about Zeke’s recent behavior.
