One dog dead, one person seriously injured in shooting

Early this morning, police and medics responded to a shooting call in the central Hilltop home. There they found one person suffering from a gunshot wound and one dog shot to death. Another dog was injured. The person was transported to the hospital in serious but stable condition.

It happened on the 100 block of South Ogden Ave. Police believe there may be two suspects though there were multiple people in the residence at the time of the shooting.

The incident is still under investigation.
