Since the last play of the 2017 season, many of you have probably been counting down the days– nay–minutes until the new season of Ohio State football starts up again. Now, here we are, only six days away from the first official practice.
To add to the momentum, Ohio State has released their annual media guide that has some heads turning.
The photoshopped cover photo of linebacker Jerome Baker may reveal a new look the Buckeyes could sport this fall. Eleven Warriors confirms that the team will wear Nike’s Vapor Untouchable jerseys that are more streamlined to lessen grab points.
But if you look closely, you can notice subtle Buckeye leaves printed on the players’ numbers.

OSU’s graphic designer told Eleven Warriors that the element won’t necessarily be part of the official uniforms though. However, this feature was part of the practice uniforms worn this spring and last fall so we’re not totally counting it out.
Guess we’ll just have to be patient and see what the Buckeyes are wearing when they file through the tunnel on August 31 to face Indiana.
