OSU Trying to Trademark “The Oval”

Ohio State University in its long and storied history has trademarked most of its campus, identity and colors but now — they’re making the move to shapes.

OSU has filed to trademark the giant green space in the center of Campus, “The Oval.” The attorneys are looking to snatch the name, and not the idea of a skinny circle — to use in clothing and other apparel items.
