Update: Chris Holtmann leaves Butler for Ohio State
Update: Chris Holtmann has released a statement declaring he is leaving the head coaching position at Butler.

Breaking: The new fearless leader of the Ohio State men’s basketball team has been unofficially announced. Chris Holtmann will attend a press conference at OSU today to announce his new gig as the bball coach.
He’s got big shoes to fill as he will be replacing the winningest coach in program history.
Holtmann comes in from Butler after being there for three seasons. Out of the three, he’s won at least one NCAA Tournament game every year.
Ohio State also considered the current assistant coach Chris Jent and Creighton coach Greg McDermott for the head position.
