Bexley High School: 1 out of 100 Best Schools in America
Out of 100 schools in the United States chosen as “the best” only two schools from Ohio made the cut — and only one from the Capital City area.
Bexley High School landed #62 on the 100 Best Public High Schools list due to some extraordinary stats.
The school has nearly two dozen AP courses and 84% of the student body participates in AP curriculum. On top of the academic, the schools boasts extracurricular clubs and athletic programs, especially known for their choir program.
According to the ranking, 27% of the student body is “disadvantaged.” The school does not have open enrollment or accept out of city boundaries tuition — you gotta live there.
“We are proud to achieve high rankings using a variety of measures, with several highlighting our success in educating all students,” said Dr. Harley Williams to NBC4i, the principal of Bexley High School.
Wyoming High School close to Cincinnati is the only other Ohio high school to make the list.
