If you’ve got ourself a nice little pad in the city, consider yourself lucky because they are hard to come by these days. Houses in Columbus are in super high demand right now. In the past, homes would sit on the market for about 105 days but are now being snatched up in only 43 days. And, for the first time ever in Columbus, homes are fetching upwards to $200,000. This is a 7 percent increase from last year.

Of course, one of the reasons Columbus homes are in such high demand is because we live in a kick-ass city, but here are a couple more contributing factors:

  • Low interest rates
  • Strong job growth
