Last night, a Columbus woman overdosed on heroine with her young child in the vehicle. It happened at a Circle K on Petzinger Road near U.S. 33. A witness saw the chaos unfold, pressed his Life Alert, and called 911. The woman was eventually revived by medics.
Columbus officials are asking everyone to carry Narcan, the drug that reverses opiate overdoses. It is free through the Charitable Pharmacy and Equitas. The epidemic is widening but you can help fight against it.
