CPD Rangle a Runaway Piggie
CPD dispatchers received a call: “Pot belly pig running loose. Caller afraid it’s going to get hit by a car.”
Officers in the area were dispatched and located the pig at Atlanta Drive & Roth Avenue on the city’s westside.

It wouldn’t get in a cruiser so officers waited on the Capital Area Humane Society who arrived with a crate.
The pot bellied pig was reunited with its owners at 10:09am.
“It went wee, wee, wee all the way home,” said dispatcher Crooks who tipped us off to this light-hearted call.
