Gun enthusiast bills being considered by Ohio legislature

Several bills are boogying through Ohio legislature that, if passed, could loosen up regulations on carrying a concealed weapon.
Here’s what the bills entail:
- One bill would remove the need for a license to carry a concealed gun
- One would lift the requirement for concealed-carry holders to notify officers that they’re carrying a weapon when pulled over
- Another would widen self-defense parameters by removing the duty to retreat before using lethal force (“stand your ground” law)
Though the likelihood of every single bill passing is slim, historically, Ohio lawmakers have thrown a bone to Second Amendment supporters in legislative sessions.
