If Columbus State Community College gets its way, the new state budget will give them their first tuition increase in three years. The 7.4% increase would equal $90 additional per semester for a typical student.
Meanwhile, tuition and mandatory fees for Ohio State undergraduate students have been frozen for five consecutive years.
Despite the temporary tuition hike pauses, the overall trend in college tuition nationwide is shall we say, steep.
