Lane reductions on tap for Dublin interstate repairs
If you live in Dublin, this is probably the only time you’ll hate your city – but only if you’re driving in the evening. Today is the first day of a week-long project to repair the fire damage to the I-270/US-33 interchange. The damage is a result of a huge tanker fire back in January. The driver of the tanker carrying 8,000 gallons of gasoline was killed in the explosion.
From the looks of things, your commute will probably be jammed up.
The City of Dublin released these details:
MONDAY, APRIL 3 – FRIDAY, APRIL 7
- 9 AM: US 33EB reduced to three lanes between I-270 and Frantz/Post Rd.
- 3 PM: All lanes open
MONDAY, APRIL 3
- (NEW) I-270 SB Lane Closures for Bridge Work
- 7 PM: I-270SB reduced to three lanes between Sawmill Rd. and US 33.
- 11 PM: I-270SB reduced to one lane between Sawmill Rd. and US 33.
- 5 AM: All lanes open.
TUESDAY, APRIL 4
- (NEW) I-270 NB/SB Lane Closures for Bridge Work
- 7 PM: I-270SB reduced to two lanes between Sawmill Rd. and US 33.
- 7 PM: I-270NB reduced to two lanes between Tuttle Crossing Blvd. and US 33.
- 11 PM: I-270SB reduced to one lane between Sawmill Rd. and US 33.
- 11 PM: I-270NB reduced to two lanes between Tuttle Crossing Blvd. and US 33.
- 5 AM: All lanes open.
