From the brink of death to Ohio’s first Pitbull k-9 officer, it’s been quite a year for Leonard. The poor chap was set to be euthanized but a Marysville shelter worker saw some potential in the dog and set him up for training as a narcotics dog. He was partnered with Chief of Police in Clay Township near Toledo and is set to become official next Tuesday with his swearing barking-in ceremony.
