A mural honoring the life of Shadowbox Live’s co-founder, Stev Guyer, has been installed in the theater group’s newly created Arts Alley.
The “Hero Mural” was created by local artists Nick Stull and Stephanie Rond and celebrates Guyer’s life before he passed away from a long-fought battle with brain and thyroid cancer and the legacy he has left after.
The public arts display references some original Shadowbox productions and mementos from Guyer’s son, artists, and performer Gabriel Guyer regarding his relationship with his father.
