Hometown boys Twenty One Pilots resurface after year-long hiatus

After a grueling, year-long hiatus, Columbus-grown Twenty One Pilots has returned.

Today, Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun released two songs, “Jumpsuit” (with a music video) and “Nico And The Niners,” from their next full-length album, Trench.

Monday, they announced the end of their break with a single gif on Twitter which sent fans near and far into a tizzy.

A year earlier, Twenty One Pilots slipped into their vacation with a Tweeted image of their “Car Radio” lyrics, “And now I just sit in silence.”

The band also announced their next tour, The Bandito Tour, which begins on October 16. There is no Columbus date but the band will be in Cleveland on October 23.
